How it works

The tool loads your PDF and re-saves it, cleaning up redundant internal data in the process. This can meaningfully reduce file size for PDFs that have been edited or merged multiple times. It doesn't re-compress images inside the PDF, so results vary. If the output ends up larger, the original is preserved.
