How it works
This tool generates QR codes entirely in your browser. Your text, URLs, WiFi passwords, and contact details never leave your device — there's no server involved.
Supported modes
- URL / Text — Any URL, message, or plain text.
- WiFi — Scan to auto-join a WiFi network. Enter the SSID, password, and encryption type, and the QR code encodes it in the standard
WIFI:format that phones recognize. - Contact (vCard) — Share a name, phone, email, and organization. Scanning adds the contact directly to the phone's address book.
Error correction
Higher error correction lets the QR code remain scannable even if part of it is obscured or damaged. Use "High" if you plan to overlay a logo on the code, or "Low" for the smallest possible QR pattern.
