How to use the QR Code Generator

Print-size checklist

A QR code that scans perfectly on your monitor can fail on a printed flyer if it's too small or the contrast is too low. As a rule of thumb, print the code no smaller than roughly 1 inch (2.5 cm) square for anything scanned from arm's length, and larger (2 inches / 5 cm or more) for anything meant to be scanned from a few feet away, like a poster or storefront window. Keep foreground and background colors at high contrast; a light gray code on white looks stylish and often fails to scan. If you're placing a logo over the center, bump error correction up to "High" first. That setting exists specifically so the code stays readable with part of it obscured.

What is error correction and which level should I choose?
