How it works
Pick a test duration and start typing the passage shown on screen. Characters are highlighted in real time — green for correct, red for mistakes. The timer starts when you click "Start Test," and your WPM is calculated as correct characters divided by five, divided by time elapsed in minutes.
Understanding your results
- Net WPM — Your effective speed, counting only correctly typed characters.
- Raw WPM — Total characters typed per minute, including errors.
- Accuracy — Percentage of characters typed correctly.
