How it works
The calculator uses real calendar math rather than dividing by a fixed number of days per year. It walks through each month individually, accounting for months with 28, 29, 30, or 31 days. Leap years are handled correctly — if you were born on February 29, your birthday is shown on February 28 in non-leap years.
Total days lived is computed using UTC date boundaries so that timezone offsets do not cause off-by-one errors. The "day of week born" uses the JavaScript Date engine, which correctly handles the Gregorian calendar for any modern date.
The next-birthday countdown tells you exactly how many days remain and what day of the week it will fall on, so you can start planning ahead.
