Why these "fonts" work everywhere without installing anything

Because each stylized character is a distinct Unicode code point (not a font applied to regular letters), it displays identically wherever Unicode text is supported, which is essentially everywhere: Instagram bios, Discord, text messages, even most form fields. This is also why the output can't be edited like normal text afterward.
