1. Click the add button and enter the name of your subscription along with the cost and billing cycle (monthly or yearly).
2. Repeat for each subscription you want to track: streaming services, software, memberships, and anything else you pay for regularly.
3. Review the total monthly and yearly spending displayed at the top.
4. Look through the sorted list to identify subscriptions you may want to cancel or downgrade.

Why totaling monthly and annual separately matters

A handful of small monthly subscriptions can look individually trivial while adding up to a genuinely large annual figure. The annual total is usually the number that actually prompts someone to cancel something, because seeing "$340/month" feels abstract in a way that "$4,080/year" doesn't. This tool calculates both specifically because the monthly view under-communicates the real scale, and the annual view is what actually motivates a decision.

Does it automatically detect subscriptions from my bank or email?

No. This is a manual tracker, not a bank-connected app; you enter each subscription yourself, which also means no financial account access is needed to use it.

Can it remind me before a renewal?

It shows renewal dates you enter, but as a browser tool without persistent notifications, it won't push an alert to your phone. Pair it with a calendar reminder for anything you specifically want to be warned about before renewal.

Does it handle subscriptions billed in different currencies?

Enter amounts in your primary currency for an accurate total; for a subscription billed in a different currency, convert it first (see the Currency Converter) so your total reflects a consistent baseline.
