Meme Maker
Meme text has its own visual convention (bold white Impact font with a black outline, positioned at the top and bottom of an image), and recreating that specific look in general image-editing software takes more steps than it should for something meant to be quick and disposable. This adds properly-styled top and bottom text to any uploaded image and exports it as a ready-to-share PNG.

Why meme text specifically uses Impact with a heavy outline
The bold, all-caps Impact font with a thick black outline became the de facto meme text standard because it stays legible against almost any background image, light or dark, busy or plain. The heavy outline is doing real functional work, not just following a trend, since text without it would frequently blend into or disappear against certain image backgrounds. This is also why most meme text stays in short, punchy phrases rather than long sentences: the format was never built for dense text, and long captions quickly become genuinely hard to read at meme-typical image sizes.
Frequently asked questions
Can I adjust the font, or is it fixed to the classic meme style?
The classic Impact-style font is the default and most recognizable option for standard meme formatting; check the styling options if a different font is available for a non-traditional look.
Does it work with any image I upload, or only certain formats?
Common formats (JPG, PNG, WebP) are supported. Upload any image you have rights to use for this purpose.
Is there a size or resolution limit on the exported image?
Export resolution generally matches or scales reasonably from your uploaded image; extremely high-resolution source images may take a moment longer to process but should still export successfully.
